PIE 1 - Public Transport
Following the successful launch event held at Son Gallery we are pleased to announce that issue 1 of the new publication series by Preston is my Paris is available to buy.
Preston
Institute of the Everyday (PIE) is a multimedia publication released 4
times a year focussing on a variety of subjects relating to everyday
life. The first issue focusses on Public Transport and features
photography by Adam Murray and Robert Parkinson.
PIE
1 will soon be made available as a free high resolution PDF digital
download that is compatible with computers and portable devices.
In
conjunction with the image based publication, each issue will also have
a soundscape that will be available as a free podcast through iTunes or
from here
The
first soundscape has been produced by Rob Griffiths and features a
blend of ambient recordings of public transport environments in Preston,
Manchester, London, Paris and Berlin.
